ACRL National Library Marketing and Outreach Discussion Group (LMODG)
Greater NYC Area
Summer 2025 Virtual Meeting
Thurs July 24, 2025 (2pm-3pm Eastern time)
Come attend our virtual meeting where we can have an informal and open discussion about how our marketing and outreach activities have evolved in the 5 years post-COVID. Many libraries have experienced trials, errors, and successes as our patron/student needs have evolved, technology has expanded, and there has been rapid social change. We hope to discuss where you’ve landed and share lessons/successes together. This can include new events or partnerships, updates to marketing plans, focus groups successes, perspective shifts in how you approach new ideas, and more!
For full disclosure, one of our co-chairs (Mark) is working on a book contract about Library Marketing post-COVID and is seeking contributors who wish to share short testimonials about how their library pivoted and adapted in their marketing/outreach activities.
Our meeting will be held on Thurs July 24 (2pm-3pm Eastern time) on Zoom. You do not need to be a member of ACRL or ALA to attend. Of course, membership is encouraged, but not required.

We look forward to having an open, informal chat about how COVID changed /pivoted your library marketing and outreach in 2025!
Thanks,
Mark Aaron Polger and Jessica Kiebler, co-chairs
